Curbtender Sweepers, LLC designs and manufactures street sweepers and leaf collection vehicles in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Curbtender Sweepers is a subsidiary of Curbtender, Inc and derives its name from the storied Curbtender automated side loading refuse truck (ASL). Now, the name is used more broadly as the brand for all the company’s products (whether street sweeper or garbage truck) as all their work is performed at or near a city’s curb.
Curbtender Sweepers currently produces a full portfolio of mechanical street sweepers and regenerative air street sweepers. Its Centurion, Warrior, and Gladiator sweepers are all PM10 Certified.
Kevin Watje was named the Chief Executive Officer of Curbtender Sweepers in 2017, when the company purchased the assets of Wayne Sweepers LLC.
